How we source, check, publish and correct what you read here — including how to tell us we got something wrong.

What we publish

Free Job Alert Pro covers recruitment run by Indian government bodies and public-sector organisations: vacancy notifications, results, admit cards, answer keys, syllabi, cut-off marks, previous papers and exam calendars, plus explanatory guides for candidates.

We do not publish paid placements, sponsored notifications, or recruitment we cannot trace to an official source. We take no payment from any recruiter to feature, promote or reorder a listing.

Sourcing

Every recruitment page originates from a primary source: the recruiting authority's own website, its official notification PDF, or its designated application portal. Where a secondary source first alerted us to a notification, we confirm against the primary source before publishing.

Each page links to its official source. If we cannot link to one, we would rather not publish.

Fact-checking

Before a recruitment page goes live, an editor checks that:

  • the notification exists on the recruiter's official website and is current, not withdrawn;
  • dates, vacancy counts, age limits, qualifications and fees match the official notification;
  • the application and notification links resolve to official domains;
  • the recruiting organisation is correctly identified;
  • salary figures are clearly marked as indicative rather than guaranteed.

Where the official notification is ambiguous or silent, we say so and point to the source rather than filling the gap with a guess. We deliberately leave a field blank instead of estimating it.

Guides and explanatory articles describe how processes generally work. They do not restate cycle-specific numbers, because those change — those come from the linked recruitment page or the official notification.

Keeping pages current

Recruitment information decays quickly. We run automated daily checks that flag new notifications for editorial review and mark postings as closed once their deadline passes. Closed postings stay online, clearly labelled, because candidates still search for them — but they are visibly marked as no longer accepting applications.

Every page shows when it was last updated. If a page looks stale, treat the official notification as authoritative and tell us.

Corrections

We will get things wrong. When we do, we fix it rather than quietly deleting it.

  • Report it to editorial@freejobalert.space with the page link and, ideally, the official source showing the correct information.
  • We verify against the primary source. We do not change a published fact on the strength of a report alone.
  • Urgent errors are prioritised. Anything that could cause a candidate to miss a deadline, pay a wrong fee, or apply when ineligible is corrected ahead of everything else.
  • Substantive corrections are visible. Where a correction changes the meaning of a page, we update the page, refresh its last-updated date, and note what changed. Typos and formatting are fixed silently.
  • We remove rather than keep a page we cannot verify against an official source.

Authorship and independence

Recruitment pages are compiled by the Free Job Alert Pro editorial team and carry no individual byline, because they summarise official documents rather than express a view. Guides and opinion pieces are attributed to their author.

Editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationship. Where we ever earn revenue from a link or placement, it will be labelled.

AI use

We use automation to discover notifications and to structure information we have already verified. Automation never decides what is factually true: a human editor checks recruitment details against the official source before publication, and no page is published on the basis of generated content alone.
